Frostbite is a new effect in arc raiders materials. How do you handle it?
Arc Raiders Frostbite introduces a new survival mechanism in the Winter Update that makes it difficult to stay out in the open when playing on modified maps. Choose a Cold Snap Map and you'll see that snow and frost has altered the map.
This means that you have to be as concerned about the temperature of the map as you are with the raiders and the robots. However, if you wish to find the candleberries on Arc Raiders then you have to accept the risk because they only appear in cold maps. Here's how to survive and what to look for.
The Frostbite Effect is only available on Dam Battlegrounds maps, Buried city, Spaceport, and The Blue Gate.
The Frostbite starts to occur after you have been outside for some time. Your health will gradually deteriorate until you return inside.
You can get frostbite if you are outside for too long. As you can clearly see, an icy-effect slowly creeps up the screen as you remain exposed. Over time, you will start to suffer small amounts of damage. You won't panic immediately, but the damage will be noticeable. Frostbitten is dangerous if you are involved in a fight.
It's good to know that you can eliminate Frostbite simply by entering any building. You can use a field depot that is fairly open. Frostbite disappears if you enter the building for a short time. Plan your runs to take you around the buildings. This will help you avoid the worst. It is still advisable to carry more bandages in the winter than you normally would, since you can easily run out if your skin gets damaged by the cold.
You should make sure that your team and you have plenty of healing mmoset items in your loadout if you plan to play a Cold Snap. Frostbite will be more likely to affect you if you are hit by combat damage. If you don't have any buildings nearby to hide in, you may find yourself patching up more often than usual.
The Frostbite condition is only visible on Cold Snap maps, such as Dam Battlegrounds (Buried City), Spaceport, and The Blue Gate, when the Cold Snap status is active.
Candleberries can be found in Arc Raiders
Candleberries, which are nature items, were added to Arc Raiders in conjunction with the Cold Snap, Candlelight, and Flickering Fires events. This is a limited-time holiday update that requires you to collect all of these new items. Candleberries can be found in limited quantities depending on the time of day you play, but their use isn't immediately obvious. In order to help you better understand the value of Candleberries, I will explain where they can be found and what their role is in Arc Raiders.
Candleberries can only be obtained by one of two methods in the Arc Raiders Cold Snap.
"Gathering Candleberries", a live event. The "Merits" are earned as players gain XP in Arc Raiders and complete the Candleberry Banquet. Candleberries will be unlocked at different points in the game. There are 180 Candleberries that can be unlocked.
Maps with the "Cold Snap map" modifier. Certain areas will periodically receive the Cold Snap mod. The "Candleberry bush" is one of the effects that will appear on the map during this period. Players can then harvest the bushes and hopefully get out safely. Bushes, however, are rare. We found them in the wild, as you can see below, and we only received one Candleberry from each bush.
Be prepared to deal the Arc Raiders Frostbite effects.
Candleberries, which are essential for progressing through Arc Raiders' five-part project, are used to fuel the Candleberry Banquet and Candlelight. You can recycle them to make 2x Assorted Seeds. This is only a small gain, and it's not worth the effort unless you don't have any other uses for them.
The rewards for completing each project stage are huge, including cosmetics and currency.
